Mitchell’s class has been running a project where each kid takes it in turn to bring “Travelling Ted” home for the night.  This week it was Mitchell’s turn.  So here’s Mitchell and Travelling Ted, hanging out as a couple of dudes will do.

Well, we’re back in our nation’s capital.  It’s been pretty hectic for the past few weeks and I haven’t had the time or the energy to post anything. But now that we’re a bit more settled, I can try to catch up.

Yesterday was a lovely grey rainy day - the first we’ve had in a fair while - and Mitchell was dying to go for a walk in the rain with his wellies, raincoat and umbrella. So after much goading, he talked daddy into venturing out.  Thankfully winter’s not here yet!

After three tumultous years it’s time to say goodbye to Beirut. We’ve seen a mini civil war, car bombs, crazy traffic, the world’s biggest hummus, and lots of good times in between.  We’re hitting the skies tonight, with a detour in Perth before finally returning to Casa Sherlex in Canberra.

Wish us luck for the transition home.  It’s going to be a real shock!
