A great walk up to Gibraltar Peak in Tidbinbilla, south of Canberra. My walking app reckoned I walked up the equivalent of 95 storeys. Fantastic view at the top all the way back up to Black Mountain.

Australian Opals vs China. Ready… fight!
In mid-Sept we watched the Australian Opals take on (crush more like) the Chinese womens’ basketball team in a pretty physical ‘friendly’ match. The AIS arena doesn’t exactly have the atmosphere of the last big game we watched, but it was still pretty cool. And a great outcome for Australia!

A rainy Canberra day
Well, we’re back in our nation’s capital. It’s been pretty hectic for the past few weeks and I haven’t had the time or the energy to post anything. But now that we’re a bit more settled, I can try to catch up.
Yesterday was a lovely grey rainy day – the first we’ve had in a fair while – and Mitchell was dying to go for a walk in the rain with his wellies, raincoat and umbrella. So after much goading, he talked daddy into venturing out. Thankfully winter’s not here yet!
